The AirTAC GFR300C08F3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C08F3TK is an AirTAC GFR300 filter regulator: one body that first removes water and particulate from compressed air through a 40 um element, then regulates downstream pressure across a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) setting range. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). This configuration has a 1/4 in NPT port, a polycarbonate bowl with a differential-pressure drain, an embedded square gauge scaled in bar, a reverse (check) valve fitted, and a mounting bracket included.
It is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, drain choices (differential-pressure, automatic, manual), a 5 um filter option (code W), gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread options. Flow is published as characteristic curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use preparation ahead of the solenoid valves and clamping cylinders on a machining centre: the 40 um element strips water and swarf-carrying particulate from the shop-air drop, and the regulator holds a steady setting so clamps and tool-changers act consistently from one cycle to the next.
On a bottling or cartoning conveyor, this unit conditions the air feeding gripper cylinders and sealing actuators. The check valve helps hold downstream pressure if the supply side dips, and the square bar gauge lets a line technician read and reset the setting at a glance.
At a spray-booth drop in a coating plant, the unit removes compressor moisture and particulate before the air reaches the gun circuit and regulates the supply to the pressure the booth recipe calls for, with the differential-pressure drain clearing collected water from the bowl during operation.
Size and port set the air-handling capacity: this unit is size 300 with a 1/4 in NPT port; step up to size 400 or 600 where the line draws more air. The drain here is differential-pressure; automatic (A) and manual (M) drains are orderable where the bowl should be emptied with less operator attention. The 40 um element is standard - specify W for the 5 um grade where finer filtration matters. Gauge scales come in MPa, psi or bar, and the thread can be ordered as PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
Flow for the GFR300 is published as characteristic curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a fixed l/min, m3/h or SCFM figure. Send us your application - port size, expected air consumption and line pressure - and we will confirm the sizing from the AirTAC datasheet on request.
K is the reverse (check) valve code: this unit is supplied with a one-way valve fitted that blocks air from flowing back toward the regulator inlet. That helps hold downstream pressure if the supply side drops. Units ordered without the K code come without the valve.
