The AirTAC GFR300C08JC1TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300C08JC1TK is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body, so a single 300-size unit conditions and controls the air feeding your equipment. This configuration has a 1/4 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically as flow passes through, a round pressure gauge on an MPa scale, and a built-in reverse/check valve that holds the downstream setting when upstream pressure is lost. No mounting bracket is included with this code.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR300 series. The GFR line is available in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with a choice of PT, G or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (code W) element option, gauge styles and scales, and a reverse/check valve. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a bench-mounted pneumatic press or clamping fixture: the 40 um element strips water and swarf from the shop air line, the regulator holds a steady setting at the press, and the check valve keeps the cylinder from creeping if the main supply drops.
Conditioning the air to a robotic pick-and-place cell with vacuum ejectors and gripper cylinders: clean, regulated air at a stable setting protects the ejector and valve manifold, and the differential-pressure drain handles condensate through shift after shift.
Supplying paint spray guns in a finishing booth: water and particles in the air line cause fisheyes and finish defects, so the filter section cleans the air while the regulator sets the atomising pressure, read directly off the fitted MPa gauge.
Start with the size and port: 200, 300, 400 and 600 step up in port size and flow capacity, so match the 1/4 in NPT porting here to your line size and the air demand of the equipment downstream. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. Then choose the drain: differential-pressure (this unit, standard), automatic for continuous unattended condensate removal, or manual where you want deliberate draining. Filter grade is 40 um standard; select the W code for a 5 um element if downstream valves or instruments need finer filtration.
Gauge options are an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, on MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round gauge on MPa. Thread is PT as the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options; this code is NPT. A J code omits the mounting bracket, and the K code here adds a reverse/check valve. We can confirm the full datasheet on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Tell us your line pressure, port size and the air demand of your equipment, and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for this exact model on request.
This model has the standard differential-pressure drain: condensate collected in the bowl is bled off automatically when the pressure differential across the drain rises as air flows, so no manual draining is needed under normal flowing conditions. If the unit sits idle for long periods, or you want positive control over draining, the same series is available with an automatic (code A) or manual (code M) drain instead.
