The AirTAC GFR300C15MC2WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300C15MC2WT is a size 300 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built with a 1/2 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (the W grade, finer than the 40 um standard), a manual drain on the bowl, and an external round gauge reading in psi. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), a mounting bracket is included, and no reverse/check valve is fitted. Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes, PT (standard), G or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, and embedded square or optional external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales. Rated flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds clean, regulated air to the tool-clamp and actuator circuits of a CNC machining centre, with the 5 um element helping protect sensitive valve internals and the psi gauge giving the operator a direct setpoint readout.
Installed at the drop point on a cartoning or case-packing line to condition and regulate air for the pick-and-place and clamp cylinders, with the manual drain serviced during scheduled line changeovers.
Mounted on the air-prep branch of a bottling or filling line, filtering water and particulate out of the supply and holding a stable regulated pressure to the filler and capper actuators.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is size 300 with a 1/2 in NPT port, one step up from the 1/4 in and 3/8 in sizes and one step below the 3/4 in class. Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rating, ask us to confirm the curve against your application before ordering. On this configuration the drain is manual, so plan a routine drain check; automatic and differential-pressure drains are available elsewhere in the family if you prefer not to drain by hand. The 5 um element (code W) suits circuits that need finer filtration than the 40 um standard. The round external gauge reads in psi; embedded square gauges and MPa or bar scales are the other catalogue choices. Thread is NPT here, with PT as the standard and G also available to order, and the mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can quote. Tell us your application and we will confirm the datasheet curve and check the sizing against your demand before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the bowl is released by hand, which suits stations that are checked on a routine schedule. The same family is also available with an automatic drain (code A) or a differential-pressure drain (blank) if you would rather not rely on manual draining.
