The AirTAC GFR300C15MF2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2 Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C15MF2 is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds the downstream pressure at your setpoint in one compact body. This size 300 unit is threaded PT1/2 (1/2 in), carries the standard 40 um filter element, and has a manual drain (code M) on the polycarbonate bowl that you open by hand to release collected condensate. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) setting range, maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), an embedded square pressure gauge reading in psi is fitted, a mounting bracket is included, and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options across the range include automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (W) filter element, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, external round gauges and alternate gauge scales. AirTAC publishes flow for these units as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air to the divert and fill-gate cylinders on a bottling line, with the 1/2 in port feeding a header that serves several pneumatic valves from one setpoint.
Stable setpoint pressure for the air clamps and tool-change cylinders in a CNC machining cell, with the 40 um element protecting the clamp valves from water and particulate in the shop air.
Filtered, regulated air for the diverter gates and stopper cylinders along a warehouse conveyor, with the manual drain emptied during scheduled line checks.
Choose the size and port against the air demand of the machine: this unit is size 300 with a PT1/2 (1/2 in) port, and larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. Drain type is a real choice: manual (this unit, code M) needs periodic hand draining, automatic (A) drains continuously, and the differential-pressure drain is the catalogue default. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W. The gauge here is the embedded square type reading in psi; external round gauges and MPa/psi/bar scales are options. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and a mounting bracket is included. AirTAC publishes flow as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M in the code is a manual drain: condensate collects in the polycarbonate bowl and you open the drain by hand to release it. If you would rather not do that, the same unit can be ordered with an automatic drain (A) or with the differential-pressure drain that is the default.
