GFR300C15MF2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2, 40 um

The AirTAC GFR300C15MF2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR300C15MF2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2, 40 um

The AirTAC GFR300C15MF2GK is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in one 300-size body. This configuration carries a G1/2 (BSPP) port, a 40 um filter element, a manual drain and a metal bowl. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), the embedded square gauge is supplied on a psi scale, a reverse/check valve is fitted, and a mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, an optional 5 um element (code W), gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and PT, G or NPT threads to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

C1Port size See datasheet. This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
(blank)Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
(blank)Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Mounting bracket included.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
(blank)PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR300C15MF2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2, 40 um Is Used

precision_manufacturing

CNC machining cell air supply

Feeding filtered, regulated air to the tool-clamp and chip-blow-off circuits of a CNC machining centre, with the fitted check valve helping hold downstream pressure if the supply dips.

factory

Packaging machine actuation

Conditioning the air feeding carton-sealing cylinders and actuated guide rails on a packaging line, with the metal bowl specified where a polycarbonate bowl is not the preferred choice.

conveyor_belt

Warehouse conveyor control valves

Supplying clean, regulated air to directional control valves and stopper cylinders along a distribution-centre conveyor, with the psi-scaled gauge letting line staff set and check pressure at a glance.

Is the GFR300C15MF2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2, 40 um the Right Unit?

Match the size and port to the air your application consumes: 300 sits mid-range in the family, and the G1/2 port on this unit matches that step. Drain type is a real decision: manual (this unit) is opened by hand to expel collected water, while automatic and differential-pressure drains bleed the bowl for you. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), thread (PT is the standard; G and NPT are catalogue options to order) and the bracket are all selectable. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (See datasheet here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR300C15MF2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2, 40 um FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your operating pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.

A manual drain is opened by hand to expel the water collected in the bowl, which suits installations visited regularly for checks. The same family is also available with automatic or differential-pressure drains if you would rather not rely on operator attention. On this unit the drain is manual.
