The AirTAC GFR300C15MF2K AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2, 40 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300C15MF2K is a size 300 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has PT1/2 ports, a 40 um standard filtration element, a manual drain bowl, an embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and a reverse/check valve fitted. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The size 300 bowl is polycarbonate (PC), and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, and with options including automatic or manual drains, a 5 um (code W) element, G or NPT threads, alternate gauge scales, and low-pressure or no-bracket variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds filtered, regulated air to the tool-change and clamping circuits of a CNC machining centre, with the psi gauge letting setters verify setpoint at the machine and the check valve holding downstream pressure if supply dips.
Sits at the drop of a packaging conveyor line to condition air for diverters, sealers and pusher cylinders, with the 40 um element stopping particulate from reaching valve spools and the manual drain cleared during shift checks.
Conditions and regulates air for grippers and end-of-arm tooling on a robot cell, where the bracket mounts the unit beside the cell control panel and the psi gauge gives a local reading for commissioning the gripper pressure.
Start with the port step: this unit is size 300 with PT1/2 (1/2 in) ports; if your line needs more or less flow capacity, step up to size 400 or down to size 200/300 equivalents and match the port code (06 to 25). Drain type is a real choice: manual (this unit, which also widens the regulation range to 0.05-0.9 MPa), automatic, or the differential-pressure default - pick manual where an operator drains on a routine, or automatic where the unit is hard to reach. Filtration is 40 um standard; choose the W option for 5 um where finer protection is needed. The embedded square gauge here reads in psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available to order as specifications. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the relevant datasheet flow-curve figures on request before you order.
The M in the code selects a manual drain bowl: an operator opens the drain to remove collected condensate, which suits units mounted where routine checks are easy. On this manual-drain configuration the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi); automatic and differential-pressure drain versions are available if you prefer hands-off drainage.
