The AirTAC GFR300C15MJF2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300C15MJF2G is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is the size 300 unit with a 1/2 in G (BSPP) female port, a 40 um standard filter element, and a manual drain you operate by hand to empty the bowl. The standard regulator covers 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with this manual-drain version, an embedded square gauge with a psi scale is fitted, and no reverse/check valve is included. The bowl on this size is PC (polycarbonate); max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and offers automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (W) filter element option, gauge scale choices, G or NPT thread options and bracket choices. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use air preparation on a factory distribution drop: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale before the air reaches tools and cylinders, and the regulator sets a stable working pressure for the cell.
Feeding pneumatic cylinders and grippers on a packaging or palletising conveyor line, where the manual-drain bowl is emptied during planned changeovers and the regulator holds the pressure the actuators were set up for.
Fitted by machine builders in the air-prep panel of new equipment: one G1/2 filter regulator conditions and regulates the supply to the machine's valve manifold, with the psi square gauge giving the operator a local set-point readout.
Size 300 with a 1/2 in port sits in the middle of the GFR range (200/300/400/600); step up or down according to the flow your line needs, and we will confirm the curve-based flow figures before you order. Drain type is a real choice: this unit is manual drain (simplest, emptied by hand), while automatic and differential-pressure drains are available in the same family if you want unattended water removal. Filter grade is 40 um standard here; specify the W option for 5 um where finer particulate removal matters. The fitted square gauge reads in psi; MPa and bar scales are alternatives. Thread is G (BSPP) on this model - PT is the standard thread and G or NPT are catalogue options to order. This unit is ordered without a mounting bracket; brackets are optional on the family.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet for this size 300, 1/2 in port unit on request.
Manual drain means the bowl is emptied by hand, which suits lines with regular maintenance windows. The same GFR family is also available with automatic drain (expels condensate by itself) or differential-pressure drain, and the regulation range differs by drain type: manual-drain versions adjust from 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), while automatic and differential-pressure versions adjust from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
