The AirTAC GFR300C15MLJF2WG AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300 series combines a filter and a pressure regulator in one body: compressed air is cleaned of water and particulate, then reduced to the working pressure the circuit needs. This configuration is built with G1/2 ports, a metal bowl with manual drain, the 5 um (W) filter element, a low-pressure regulator, an embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and no mounting bracket or reverse/check valve. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and can be ordered with a 40 um standard or 5 um element, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, PT, G or NPT threads, and with or without a bracket. Flow for the series is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditioning the supply to swing clamps and workholding cylinders on a machining cell: the 5 um element keeps contaminates out of clamp seats, the regulator holds the low setting the fixture was designed around, and the psi gauge gives the setter a direct read at the panel.
Feeding air knives and nozzle manifolds on a carton-sealing or shrink-wrap conveyor, where the low-pressure regulator is matched to gentle, repeatable settings and the manual drain is opened as part of the line's start-of-shift checklist.
Filtering and regulating pilot air on a valve-actuation skid in a process plant: the element protects solenoid and positioner seats, the regulator holds the low pilot pressure the actuator expects, and the square psi gauge sits where the technician reads it during rounds.
Size 300 with G1/2 ports is the mid-range step of the GFR line: step up to 400 or 600 when the circuit demands more air, or down to 200 for compact points of use. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the right size before you order. The 5 um element suits circuits needing finer particulate removal than the 40 um standard; the manual drain means an operator opens the bowl drain during routine checks, where an automatic or differential-pressure drain would handle condensate unattended. The embedded square gauge reads in psi, with MPa or bar scales and an external round gauge available as order options. G thread is built in here, with PT and NPT available to order, and the J code omits the mounting bracket.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M code fits a manual drain: an operator opens the bowl drain during routine checks to expel collected condensate. If the installation runs unattended, the same size can be ordered with an automatic or differential-pressure drain instead.
