The AirTAC GFR300C15NWT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300C15NWT is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in one body. This configuration is the GFR300 size with a 1/2 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (code W), a differential-pressure drain on the bowl and a standard regulator adjustable from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). No pressure gauge is fitted (code N), a mounting bracket is included, maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The bowl on this 300 size is polycarbonate.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options including manual or automatic drains, a 40 um standard or 5 um element, embedded square or external round gauges scaled in MPa, psi or bar, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. Flow for this size is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the shop-air feed to pneumatic clamps and tool-change cylinders on a CNC machining centre, where the 5 um element helps protect precision valves from particles and carried-over water.
Conditioning the branch that drives stopper cylinders, diverters and pushers on a bottling or cartoning conveyor line, holding a steady downstream setpoint as station demand changes through the shift.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to air-driven torque tools, pneumatic presses and grippers at an assembly station, with the differential-pressure drain handling condensate collected in the bowl during operation.
Choose the size by the port and flow step you need: 200, 300, 400 or 600, with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in - this GFR300 carries a 1/2 in NPT port, with G (BSPP) and PT available as order options. Pick the drain: differential-pressure (as fitted here), automatic (A) or manual (M). Pick the element: 40 um standard or 5 um with the W code, as on this unit. Decide on a gauge - embedded square or external round, scaled in MPa, psi or bar - or run without one, as this N-coded unit does. A mounting bracket is included. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR300 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the datasheet curve for this 1/2 in NPT filter regulator before you order.
The N in the model code means no gauge is fitted. GFR300 units can be ordered with an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, scaled in MPa, psi or bar - just ask when ordering. The standard regulator adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) applies to this differential-pressure drain configuration.
