The AirTAC GFR400-15T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400-15T is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in a single body. This size 400 unit has 1/2 in NPT ports, a manual-drain polycarbonate bowl, a standard 40 um filter element and a round pressure gauge reading in bar. The regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options across the range include automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a finer 5 um element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered and regulated air for tool clamps, pallet clamps and pneumatic actuation on a CNC machining center, with the 1/2 in port matching the main drop from the shop ring main.
Stable pressure for stopper cylinders and diverters on a bottling or carton packaging conveyor, with the manual drain suited to a supervised daily check at line start-up.
Clean, regulated air to quarter-turn pneumatic actuators on a water treatment plant's isolation valves, with the bar-scale gauge matching the plant's local instrument readouts.
Size and port: GFR400 is the size 400 frame with 1/2 in NPT ports; step to 200, 300 or 600 if your piping or air demand points elsewhere. Drain: this code is manual (M), so condensate is released by hand - automatic (A) and differential-pressure (blank) drains are available on other codes. Filter grade: the standard 40 um element is fitted here; specify 5 um (W) for finer filtration. Gauge: this unit carries a round gauge reading in bar; embedded square gauges and MPa or psi scales are options. Thread: PT is the AirTAC standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is NPT. Bracket: no mounting bracket is included with this code (J). Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one rated flow number we can quote. Tell us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
Code M means condensate is released by opening the drain valve by hand, which suits units that are checked daily in a supervised area. If the unit is hard to reach or runs unattended, choose the automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain codes instead.
