The AirTAC GFR400C15AJF2WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15AJF2WT is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: a 5 um filter element and a pressure regulator combined in one body, sized for 1/2 in NPT ports. This configuration pairs the 5 um element (code W) with an automatic drain, so collected water and particles are expelled without manual intervention, and an embedded square pressure gauge reading in psi. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the unit operates from -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The bowl is metal, and no mounting bracket is included with this code.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, offered with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, G, NPT or PT threads, and with or without a bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, regulated air to the tool-changer and clamping circuits on a CNC machining centre, where the 5 um element protects directional valves from particles and the regulator holds a steady set pressure.
Conditioning the air feeding baggers, carton sealers and pick-and-place cylinders on a packaging line, with the automatic drain handling condensate through multi-shift running.
Supplying regulated air to diverters, stoppers and lifters on a conveyor sorting line, where the psi gauge lets operators set and check line pressure at a glance.
Size and port step up with required flow: 200, 300, 400 and 600 carry progressively larger ports, and this unit sits at 1/2 in NPT (thread code T; G and PT are order options). Where a bowl is fitted, choose the drain: automatic (this code) for unattended condensate removal, manual for periodic draining, or the default differential-pressure type. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W, as fitted here. Gauges are embedded square as standard with MPa, psi or bar scales, or an optional external round gauge; brackets are optional. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow curve and datasheet figures on request before you order.
The A in the code selects the automatic drain: condensate collected in the metal bowl is discharged without anyone opening the drain, which suits unattended or multi-shift installations. Manual and differential-pressure drain versions are available in the same size if you prefer a different arrangement.
