The AirTAC GFR400C15ALJC2TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15ALJC2TK is a GFR-series filter regulator: a single body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure. This size 400 unit is threaded NPT1/2, carries the standard 40 um filter element, and has an automatic drain that discharges condensate from its metal bowl without operator attention. The regulator is the low-pressure type (its adjustment range is not published here - we confirm it on request), a round psi gauge is fitted, a reverse/check valve is built in, and the unit is ordered without a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and options that include manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), embedded square or external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G or NPT threads and a mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and any datasheet figure for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds fixture and clamping cylinders on a CNC cell, cleaning the supply air and holding a steady low set point while the machining cycle runs.
Conditions the air feeding spray guns or coating heads on a finishing line, where water and particles carried in the supply would spoil the finish.
Supplies the diverters, pushers and stop cylinders along a packaging conveyor, with the automatic drain handling condensate arriving from a long distribution main.
Choices that matter on this family: step size and port (200/300/400/600, 1/8 to 1 inch) against the flow your line needs; drain type - automatic (as fitted here), manual, or the differential-pressure default; element grade, 40 um standard or 5 um with code W; gauge type and scale (embedded square as standard, external round optional, MPa/psi/bar); thread, with PT as the catalogue standard and G and NPT as order options; and whether a bracket is wanted - this unit is ordered without one. Bowl material follows size across the range: polycarbonate on 200/300/400 and aluminium alloy on 600; this unit is specified with a metal bowl. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your flow and pressure conditions and we will confirm the right size before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR400 flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm suitability from the datasheet on request.
The A in the code selects the automatic drain, which discharges collected condensate from the bowl without operator attention. Manual (M) and differential-pressure (blank) drains are alternative order options across the GFR range.
