The AirTAC GFR400C15ALJF1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15ALJF1WT is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and reduces the pressure delivered downstream. This configuration is built around NPT1/2 (1/2 in) ports, a 5 um filter element (code W, against the 40 um standard), an automatic drain that discharges collected condensate on its own, a metal bowl, and an embedded square pressure gauge scaled in MPa. It is the low-pressure type regulator and is supplied without a mounting bracket.
It is a genuine AirTAC part, one of the G-series filter regulators spanning sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with a choice of drain type, filter grade, gauge scale and PT, G or NPT thread. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, and the exact adjust range of the low-pressure type is not in the material we hold, so ask us to confirm both against your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use supply for spray guns and atomizing air on a paint line: the 5 um element keeps nozzle tips clear of particulate while the low-pressure regulator holds a gentle, repeatable atomizing pressure.
Feeding cylinders and air grippers on a carton-sealing or wrapping line where product and film crush easily; the low-pressure type lets operators set reduced working pressure, and the automatic drain clears condensate between shifts.
Regulated air to pneumatic clamps on a machining fixture where light, consistent holding pressure avoids distorting the workpiece; the square MPa gauge gives a direct setting reference at the fixture.
Size and port: this 400 size carries a 1/2 in port, one step up from the 300; move up or down a size as your line's demand changes, and because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, send us your flow requirement and we will confirm the right size from the datasheet. Drain: this unit has the automatic drain; the family also offers manual and differential-pressure drains if you prefer to control blowdown yourself. Filtration: the W code fits the 5 um element, while the standard 40 um element suits coarser protection. Gauge: the embedded square gauge here reads in MPa, with an external round gauge and psi or bar scales available as options. Thread: PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) and NPT are order options - this unit is built with NPT. No mounting bracket is fitted; a bracket is an optional extra in the family.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, downstream demand and acceptable pressure drop, and we will confirm from the datasheet whether the 1/2 in GFR400 size suits your application.
The A code in this model fits the automatic drain, which expels collected condensate from the metal bowl without anyone opening it - useful on lines that run unattended. The same GFR400 family is also available with a manual drain or a differential-pressure drain if you would rather control blowdown yourself; ask and we will confirm the alternative code.
