The AirTAC GFR400C15ALJF2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15ALJF2 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at your setpoint in a single 1/2 in (PT1/2) body. This size 400 configuration carries an automatic drain that expels collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl without daily attention, a 40 um standard filter element, the low-pressure regulator type, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi. No mounting bracket is included (code J).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options including manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), an external round gauge with MPa, psi or bar scales, and G or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air at a low set pressure for clamp and hold-down cylinders on carton and bag packaging lines, with the automatic drain handling condensate between shifts.
Point-of-use air preparation for spray guns and coating lines, where the 40 um element takes out water and pipe scale before the regulator sets the gun supply pressure.
Regulated, filtered air for air-knife and blow-off nozzles that clear dust and debris along conveyor lines, with the square psi gauge giving operators a direct setpoint readout.
Choose the size by the port and flow your line needs: 200 for 1/8-1/4 in ports, 300 for 3/8-1/2 in, 400 for 1/2-3/4 in, and 600 for 1 in - this unit is size 400 with a PT1/2 port. Drain type is a real operating choice: automatic (this unit) suits duty where nobody wants to bleed the bowl daily, while manual and differential-pressure drains are the other catalogue options. The 40 um element is standard; specify 5 um (code W) only where finer filtration is genuinely required. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and the square embedded gauge versus the optional external round gauge are decodable choices, as is thread: PT is the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as order options. Brackets are optional on GFR - this code omits one. Because AirTAC publishes flow as curves, not a single rated figure, send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR400 flow as curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your inlet pressure, set pressure and expected air consumption, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet before you order.
The L code selects the low-pressure regulator variant of the GFR400, intended for applications set below the standard regulator's range. The exact adjustment range for this variant is not published on our sheet, so we confirm it from the datasheet on request. Everything else in the code decodes normally: PT1/2 port, automatic drain, 40 um element, square psi gauge, and no mounting bracket.
