The AirTAC GFR400C15ALJF2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15ALJF2G is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size 400 unit is configured with a G1/2 (BSPP) port, a metal bowl fitted with an automatic drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, a 40 um standard filter element, and the low-pressure regulator type. An embedded square gauge reading in psi is included, and the unit comes without a mounting bracket and without a reverse (check) valve. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and can be ordered with manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (W) element, gauge scales in MPa or bar, PT or NPT threads, and a mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditioning the air feed to pneumatic clamps and grippers on a vehicle-body line, removing water and particles and holding a reduced, stable pressure downstream of the main supply.
Supplying clean, moisture-reduced air at a set reduced pressure to the film-sealing and tucking cylinders of a horizontal wrapper, with the automatic drain clearing condensate between shifts.
Treating the shop-air feed to a laboratory's pneumatic bench outlets, filtering out water and particulate and dropping the pressure to a low setting suited to sensitive bench-top apparatus.
Size and port are the first choice: 200, 300, 400 and 600 map to 1/8 through 1 inch ports and increasing flow capacity, so step up a size when your demand sits near the top of a smaller unit's curve. Where a bowl is fitted you can choose a differential-pressure drain (default), an automatic drain as on this model, or a manual drain; the filter element is 40 um standard or 5 um with the W code. Regulated units carry an embedded square gauge with MPa, psi or bar scales, threads can be ordered in PT (standard), G or NPT, and a mounting bracket is optional. Flow is published as curves rather than one rated number, so send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet for this exact G1/2 configuration before you order.
The L in the code marks the low-pressure regulator variant of the GFR400. The exact adjustment range for this variant is not published in the data we hold, so tell us the set pressure your circuit needs and we will verify suitability against the AirTAC datasheet before you order.
