The AirTAC GFR400C15ALJF2TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400 series combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single body. This unit is built for a 1/2 in NPT port and is the low-pressure regulator type. It carries an automatic drain that removes condensate from the metal bowl without manual attention, a standard 40 um filter element, a fitted square gauge scaled in psi, and a reverse/check valve against backflow. It is supplied without a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options include manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, and mounting brackets. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Regulating filtered air to the cylinder-driven capping and filling heads on a beverage bottling line, with the automatic drain clearing condensate that collects during humid summer production runs.
Supplying a workholding clamping circuit on a machining centre that runs below full header pressure; the low-pressure regulator type sets the circuit, the 40 um element protects the clamp cylinders, and the check valve guards against reverse flow.
Setting filtered air to the spray guns in a paint finishing booth, where the regulator holds a steady setting for consistent atomizing and the automatic drain keeps free water out of the finish.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in port sits in the upper half of the GFR range; step between 200, 300, 400 and 600 according to the flow your line needs. The drain on this unit is automatic; manual and differential-pressure drains are alternatives on the same frame. The 40 um element is standard and a 5 um element (code W) is available where finer filtration is required. The fitted square gauge reads in psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are options. Thread here is NPT; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is also a catalogue option. A mounting bracket can be ordered - this unit is supplied without one.
Because published flow data is in curve form rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
Flow for the GFR400 series is published as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and full datasheet figures on request.
This configuration carries the A code, meaning an automatic drain that removes condensate from the bowl without manual attention. The same frame can be ordered with a manual drain or with the default differential-pressure drain; tell us which suits your maintenance routine.
