The AirTAC GFR400C15ALJF3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR series combines filtration and pressure regulation in a single body: compressed air is cleaned of water and particulate, then regulated for the downstream circuit. This GFR400C15ALJF3T is the size 400 unit with a 1/2 in NPT port, automatic drain, standard 40 um filter element and the low-pressure regulator type. It includes the embedded square gauge scaled in bar, has a metal bowl, and no mounting bracket is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT to order) and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and the full datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the low-pressure air feed to gripper and capping cylinders on a bottling line, with the automatic drain clearing collected condensate without daily attention.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to low-pressure clamping circuits on CNC machining fixtures, where a stable reduced set pressure protects the workpiece and the clamps.
Feeding pilot-air manifolds on automated valve skids, keeping water and particulate out of pilot valves while holding the low pressure those pilots require.
Size and port step up from 200 to 600 (1/8 in to 1 in) as your air demand grows; this unit is size 400 with a 1/2 in NPT port. Drain choices are differential-pressure (the default), automatic (as specified here) and manual. The filter element is 40 um standard, with 5 um (code W) where finer filtration is needed. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales; this code specifies the square gauge in bar. Thread is PT as standard, with G(BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is ordered in NPT. A bracket is optional; this code omits it. The regulator here is the low-pressure type; ask us to confirm its setting range for your circuit. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand, and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet for this exact unit.
The A in the code specifies the automatic drain, which expels collected condensate without manual attention. The GFR family is also available with a manual drain or the differential-pressure drain (the default), and the 40 um element can be specified as the 5 um option (code W) at order time.
