The AirTAC GFR400C15ALNT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15ALNT is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is the 400 size with a 1/2 in NPT port, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate from the bowl without manual intervention, the standard 40 um filter element, the low-pressure regulator type, no gauge fitted, and a mounting bracket included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, thread options (PT standard, G and NPT to order), drain types, a 5 um element option (code W), and gauge options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C1 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed ahead of an air-operated bench press, the unit strips condensate and wear particles from the shop air line and holds a steady, lower setpoint to the press cylinder so forming and staking strokes stay repeatable.
Mounted at the drop of a carton-sealing or case-erecting machine, it cleans the incoming air and regulates pressure to the flap-tuck and tape-head cylinders, with the automatic drain clearing condensate between shifts without operator attention.
Used as the conditioning stage for laboratory automation and sample-handling pneumatics, where the 40 um element protects valves and actuators from particulate and water, and the low-pressure regulator type suits circuits that run at reduced setpoints.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: the 400 size with its 1/2 in port sits in the upper mid-range of the GFR line, with 200, 300 and 600 available when the application calls for a smaller or larger step. Drain type is a real choice here: this unit carries the automatic drain (code A), while manual and differential-pressure drains are the other catalogue options. Filter grade is 40 um as decoded; specify the W option if the circuit needs 5 um filtration. Gauge and scale (square embedded or external round, MPa/psi/bar) can be added, but this configuration ships without a gauge. Thread is NPT in this code; PT is the standard and G is also available to order. A bracket is included.
One honest routing note: AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated number, so send us your application conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one rated flow number we can quote for this model. Send us your line pressure, downstream setpoint and expected air demand, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request before you order.
The L in the code marks the low-pressure variant of the GFR regulator, intended for circuits regulated below the standard type's range; the exact adjustment range for this variant is not published as a single figure, so we confirm it on request. The N in the code means no gauge is fitted in this configuration - gauge options with MPa, psi or bar scales are available if your circuit needs a visual setpoint reference.
