The AirTAC GFR400C15C1T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15C1T is a size 400 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries a 1/2 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate automatically as flow passes through, and a fitted round pressure gauge reading in MPa. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR line is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, an optional 5 um element (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at the take-off from a factory air main to deliver clean, regulated air to a production cell, with the differential-pressure drain handling condensate during continuous running.
Feeding a bank of directional control valves on an automated machine, holding a stable set pressure so valve shifting and cylinder speed stay consistent through the shift.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to conveyor stopper and lift cylinders on a packaging or material-handling line, protecting the actuators from water and scale in the supply.
Choose the size 400 / 1/2 in step when your line runs larger ports and higher air demand than a size 300 can carry; match the port to your piping rather than upsizing blindly, since the right size depends on the flow your circuit actually needs. Drain type matters: the differential-pressure drain on this unit needs no attention at low flow, but a manual drain (code M) suits intermittent duty and an automatic drain (code A) suits unattended lines. The standard 40 um element protects most actuators and valves; specify the 5 um W grade only where downstream equipment demands finer filtration. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order) should match the rest of your installation. Because AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than one rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as performance curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and air demand, and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet curves for this 1/2 in size 400 unit before you order.
The differential-pressure drain on this unit discharges collected condensate automatically when the pressure differential across the filter rises with flow, so it suits continuously supplied lines. For intermittent or low-flow duty, a manual drain (code M) lets you empty the bowl on a schedule, and an automatic drain (code A) suits unattended installations.
