The AirTAC GFR400C15C2WT AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/2 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15C2WT is a size 400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body. This configuration carries a 1/2 in NPT port, a fine 5 um filter element (code W), the differential-pressure drain that bleeds collected condensate automatically as flow passes through, and a round pressure gauge with a psi scale so the set pressure is readable at the wall of the unit. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The bowl on this size is polycarbonate, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. GFR filter regulators are published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with options for drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale, thread form and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Mounted at the air drop feeding clamps and fixtures, this filter regulator removes water and fine particles from the shop air and lets the setter dial in and read the clamp pressure on the psi gauge.
Installed where the main distribution line feeds a work cell, it conditions the supply and sets a stable downstream pressure for the cell's valves and cylinders, with the differential-pressure drain handling condensate as air flows through.
Fitted ahead of the directional valves running conveyor stops, pushers and packaging cylinders, it keeps scale and water out of the actuators while holding the pressure the line was set up with.
Choose the size and port by the air demand of the circuit downstream: this unit is size 400 with a 1/2 in NPT port, one step up from size 300 (3/8 in) and one below size 600 (3/4 in). Drain choice matters: differential-pressure drain (this unit) needs no operator attention, automatic drain empties the bowl on shut-off, and manual drain requires periodic bleeding. Filtration grade is 40 um standard or 5 um (this unit, code W) where finer protection is wanted. Gauge style is the embedded square gauge or the external round gauge (this unit), with MPa, psi or bar scales. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options, and a bracket can be included or omitted. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Tell us your line pressure and the air demand of the circuit, and we will confirm the flow curve and correct size from the datasheet on request.
This model carries the differential-pressure drain, the GFR default. It uses the pressure drop across the filter element to bleed collected condensate from the bowl as air flows, so no operator action is needed under normal running. If your application has low or intermittent flow, ask us about the automatic or manual drain variants.
