The AirTAC GFR400C15C3WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15C3WTK is a 400-size filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration carries a 5 um filter element (code W), a differential-pressure drain, a round pressure gauge with bar scale, and a built-in reverse/check valve, and it is supplied with a mounting bracket. It connects at NPT1/2 (1/2 in), handles a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), regulates from 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and operates from -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The polycarbonate bowl suits the 400 size frame.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of 40 um standard or 5 um fine filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, gauge styles and scales, PT, G or NPT threads, and optional check valves. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use clean, regulated air for a carton-forming and sealing line: the 5 um element protects directional valves and cylinders from water and particulate while the regulator holds a steady working pressure at the machine.
Feeding stoppers, pushers and diverters on a bottling conveyor, where the check valve holds downstream pressure if the upstream supply dips and the regulator keeps actuator speeds consistent between stations.
Supplying pneumatic clamps and sample-handling actuators on a laboratory or QC test bench, where the fine 5 um grade and the bar-scale gauge give clean air and a readable, repeatable set pressure.
Step up or down through the 200/300/400/600 sizes to match the port and flow path your line needs; this unit is the 400 size with a 1/2 in NPT port. Choose the 5 um element (as fitted here) when downstream equipment needs finer protection than the 40 um standard, and pick the drain type that suits access: differential-pressure (this unit), automatic, or manual. Gauge style and scale (MPa, psi or bar) and the thread standard (PT standard, G or NPT to order) are decodable choices, as is the reverse/check valve, which is fitted on this configuration. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so please ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow/datasheet figures on request before you order.
The W in the code specifies the 5 um filter grade instead of the 40 um standard, for finer protection of downstream equipment. The K specifies a built-in reverse/check valve, which helps hold the regulated downstream pressure if the upstream supply is interrupted. Both are standard decodable options in the GFR range.
