The AirTAC GFR400C15JC2TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15JC2TK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates the downstream pressure. This configuration carries a 1/2 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, and a reverse (check) valve; no mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and with the differential-pressure drain fitted the regulated outlet is adjustable from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. GFR400 is the 400 size of the G-series filter-regulator line, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in; the bowl on this size is polycarbonate (PC), while size 600 uses an aluminium alloy bowl. Order-time options on the family include automatic or manual drains, a 5 um element (code W), gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and a mounting bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use treatment for a machining centre's pneumatic panel, giving tool-change cylinders and clamps air that is free of water and swarf and held at a set pressure.
Feeding diverters, pushers and seal cylinders on a bottling or cartoning conveyor, where a single body handles both moisture removal and pressure setting at the line drop.
Conditioning the supply to quarter-turn pneumatic actuators on a water-treatment or chemical dosing skid, so positioners and solenoid valves see clean air at a stable setpoint.
The real, decodable choices on this family are: size and port (200/300/400/600, ports 1/8 to 1 in), stepped against the flow your line needs; drain type (differential-pressure as fitted here, automatic with code A, or manual with code M); filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um with W); gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar); thread (PT is the standard, G and NPT are ordered options - this unit is NPT); and bracket (included by default, omitted with J as here). Flow for the GFR400 is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your required flow and working pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
Differential-pressure drain is the default and is fitted here. Automatic drain (code A) and manual drain (code M) are catalogue options on the same GFR400 body. Tell us how the installation will be attended and we will confirm the right drain code with you before you order.
