The AirTAC GFR400C15JF3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15JF3TK is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in a single body. It removes water and particulate from compressed air at the 40 um standard grade, drains collected condensate automatically by differential pressure, and regulates downstream pressure within the 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range. This size 400 unit is fitted with 1/2 in NPT ports, an embedded square gauge graduated in bar, a reverse/check valve, and no mounting bracket.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and with options for drain type, 5 um filtration (code W), gauge scale, thread form and bracket. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a workshop pneumatic press or clamping station: the 40 um element strips water and pipe scale from the shop air line while the regulator holds a steady working pressure to the cylinder circuit, with the bar gauge giving the setter a direct readout.
Supplying clean, regulated air to the diverters, lifters and gripper cylinders on a packaging or bottling conveyor line, where the differential-pressure drain clears collected condensate during normal operation without a manual blow-down stop.
Mounted at the air inlet panel of a CNC machine tool or automated workholding fixture, conditioning the supply and setting the circuit pressure for clamps and tool-change actuators, with the check valve holding the set circuit against supply dips.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is size 400 with 1/2 in NPT ports, and larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. Other decodable choices: drain type (differential-pressure as here, automatic, or manual - note the regulation range differs by drain type), filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um with code W), gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar - this unit is bar), thread form (PT is the standard; G and NPT are order options, as fitted here), and bracket (code J means no bracket). A reverse/check valve is fitted on this unit (code K).
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number here. Tell us your line pressure, working pressure and air demand, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
K is the reverse/check valve option: a check valve is fitted in this unit, whereas a code without K has none. It is one of the decodable choices alongside drain type, filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um with W), gauge scale and thread form (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options - this unit is NPT1/2).
