The AirTAC GFR400C15LC2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15LC2GK is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 400 unit is threaded G1/2 (G thread), is the low-pressure (L) regulator type, and carries the standard 40 um filter element. Condensate is handled by the differential-pressure drain, the bowl is polycarbonate, and the unit is supplied with a mounting bracket, an external round gauge scaled in psi, and a reverse/check valve (code K). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and options include manual or automatic drains, a 5 um (W) filter element, square or round gauges scaled in MPa, psi or bar, G or NPT threads, and standard or low-pressure regulators. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the air feed to pneumatic clamps and swing cylinders on a machining cell, using the low-pressure regulator type where the station calls for a lower set pressure.
Supplying clean, regulated air to the diverter and pusher cylinders that sort cartons along a bottling or packaging conveyor.
Point-of-use filtration and regulation at assembly benches, keeping water and swarf out of air tools while holding a stable working pressure for the station.
Choose the size and port against the air demand of the line: this unit is size 400 with a G1/2 thread, and larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow. Drain type is a real choice: differential-pressure (as fitted here), automatic (A) or manual (M). Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with code W for finer particulate. Gauges can be the embedded square type or the external round type, scaled in MPa, psi or bar - this code carries a round gauge in psi. Threads can be ordered in PT (the standard), G or NPT, and the bracket can be omitted with code J. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
This unit is the L low-pressure regulator type, and the exact setting range for that version is not published in our data, so please ask us to confirm it. For reference, standard-type GFR units with differential-pressure or automatic drains adjust over 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
