The AirTAC GFR400C15LC3T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15LC3T is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This size 400 unit is threaded NPT1/2 (1/2 in) and carries a 40 um filter element with a differential-pressure drain, a low-pressure regulator type, and a round pressure gauge reading in bar. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), the bowl is polycarbonate, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and the option list includes manual or automatic drains, a finer 5 um element (code W), square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and low-pressure regulator types. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditioning the air feeding sealing jaws and wrapper actuators on a carton-packaging line, where the low-pressure regulator holds a reduced setting and the 40 um element keeps water and debris out of the machine's valves.
Filtering and stepping down shop line air before it reaches spray guns and air-assisted applicators, holding the gun supply at a low regulated setting while keeping moisture and particles out of the finish.
A filter regulator mounted ahead of the directional valves and air cylinders that index and stop products on a bottling-line conveyor, with the differential-pressure drain handling condensate collected in the bowl.
Work up the size steps from 200 to 600 until the flow curve covers your demand at your working pressure - we can check the curve against your application on request. Where a bowl is fitted you choose the drain: differential-pressure (standard, as on this unit), automatic (code A) for unattended condensate removal, or manual (code M) where you want hands-on control. Filter grade is 40 um as standard or 5 um with code W for finer protection of downstream equipment. Gauges are an embedded square unit as standard with an external round gauge optional, in MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries the round gauge in bar. Thread is PT as standard; G (BSPP) and NPT (as on this unit) are order options. The low-pressure regulator type (code L) is intended for circuits that hold a reduced regulated pressure - confirm the setpoint range with us before ordering. A mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application details - working pressure and the air your equipment needs - and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet before you order.
It is the gauge code: C is the external round gauge and 3 is the bar scale. The embedded square gauge is the standard fitting, and either style can be ordered with MPa, psi or bar scales. This unit is supplied with the round gauge reading in bar.
