The AirTAC GFR400C15LF2TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15LF2TK is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This unit is the size 400 series with a 1/2 in NPT port, built as the low-pressure type for circuits that run below standard line pressure. It carries the standard 40 um filter element with a differential-pressure drain in the bowl, an embedded square gauge reading in psi, and a reverse/check valve fitted to hold downstream pressure. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with manual or automatic drains, a 5 um element, alternative gauge scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and with or without the check valve. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a fixture-clamping line that operates below standard shop pressure, this low-pressure type filter regulator cleans the air and holds the reduced setting, with the check valve helping to maintain downstream pressure if supply dips.
Feeding cylinders and actuators on a packaging line, the unit strips water and 40 um particulate from the shop air supply and regulates it to the pressure the machine section was designed for, read locally on the square psi gauge.
At a branch take-off feeding conveyor diverters and stopper cylinders, the 1/2 in port supports the branch demand while the filter bowl catches water and pipe scale before it reaches the valves.
Start with the port and size step: the GFR400 with its 1/2 in NPT port suits higher-demand circuits, but the right step depends on the flow your line actually needs, so confirm sizing against the published curves before ordering. Choose the drain type where it applies: differential-pressure (this unit) drains as the pressure differential builds, automatic suits unattended installations, and manual suits periodic checks. Pick the filter grade: 40 um standard for general air preparation, 5 um (code W) where finer protection is needed. Select the gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and the thread: PT is the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options - this unit is ordered in NPT. The bracket is included; a J-code variant omits it.
Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing and datasheet figures before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for this exact configuration on request.
The L code means this GFR400 is built as the low-pressure regulator type rather than the standard type; the exact adjustment range for this variant is not published in our sheet, so confirm it with us before ordering. This unit also uses the differential-pressure drain: condensate collected in the PC bowl is expelled automatically as the pressure differential builds, with no manual draining needed during operation.
