The AirTAC GFR400C15LJC2TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15LJC2TK is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure at a set point, in a single body. This configuration has a 1/2 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element and a differential-pressure drain, and it is the low-pressure regulator type. A round pressure gauge reading in psi is fitted, along with a reverse (check) valve; the J suffix means no mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series is made in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT as order options. Across the series you can choose differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge style and scale, and the reverse-valve option; size 600 bowls are aluminium alloy while 200/300/400 bowls are polycarbonate. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding filtered, pressure-set air to the pneumatic control valves that actuate fill, capping and reject stations on a beverage bottling line, with the check valve holding the downstream circuit against backflow.
Conditioning the shop-air drop that powers workholding clamps and swing cylinders on a CNC machining centre, keeping water and swarf out of the fixture circuit while the low-pressure type holds a modest set point.
Supplying clean, regulated air to the divertor gates and stopper cylinders along a parcel-sort conveyor, where the differential-pressure drain keeps condensate out of the actuators during continuous shifts.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in port sits in the upper half of the GFR range; step between sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 to match your pipework and the flow your line needs. This unit uses the differential-pressure drain, which bleeds the bowl as the pressure differential rises; automatic (A) or manual (M) drain can be ordered instead. The 40 um element is the standard grade - specify W for the 5 um element where finer filtration is required. The fitted round gauge reads in psi; an embedded square gauge and MPa or bar scales are the alternatives. Thread here is NPT; PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) is the other option. No mounting bracket is included with the J suffix, but one can be ordered. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number. Send us your application details - inlet pressure, set point and the flow your equipment needs - and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
L marks the low-pressure regulator type, intended for lower set-point duties; its exact setting range is not published in the general table, so we confirm it on request. K means a reverse (check) valve is fitted - the same unit without the K has no check valve. The C2 in the code is the fitted round gauge with a psi scale.
