The AirTAC GFR400C15LJNT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15LJNT is a size 400 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is decoded as follows: NPT1/2 (1/2 in) port with NPT thread, standard 40 um filtration element, differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate automatically when the pressure differential across the element rises, low-pressure regulator type, no gauge fitted, no reverse/check valve, and no mounting bracket. The maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, PT/G/NPT threads, drain types, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge options and bracket choices. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, we confirm the datasheet and flow figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a fixture-clamping circuit that operates at reduced pressure, this filter regulator cleans the supply of water and chips and holds the regulated setting, with the differential-pressure drain keeping condensate off the valves.
Feeding the actuator bank of a cartoning or wrapping line, a size 400 filter regulator with a 1/2 in port conditions the plant air supply at the machine entry point in one compact body.
At the supply point of a spray or coating application, the 40 um element strips water and particulate before the low-pressure regulator sets the gentler pressure the process needs.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in port suits lines with higher air demand; step down to 300 or up to 600 if your circuit sits between sizes - match the port step to the flow your application needs, and we will confirm the flow curve against your requirement before you order. The differential-pressure drain is the default and needs no operator attention; if your application runs at low or varying flow, ask about the automatic (A) or manual (M) drain variants. The standard element is 40 um; specify code W for 5 um where finer filtration is needed. This unit is the low-pressure regulator type and no gauge is fitted (code N) - a gauge can be added on other variants if you want a local pressure readout. PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue options to order, and this unit is specified with NPT. No mounting bracket is included (code J).
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number that could mislead your sizing. Tell us your application and required flow and we will confirm the figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The code N in GFR400C15LJNT means no pressure gauge is fitted; gauge options exist on other GFR variants if you want a local readout. The L code marks the low-pressure regulator type, whose exact adjustment range is not published in our sheet - we confirm it on request. The unit keeps the standard 40 um element and the differential-pressure drain.
