The AirTAC GFR400C15LNWT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT 1/2 in is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15LNWT is an AirTAC GFR series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in one body, with a drain bowl but no lubricator. This size 400 unit is threaded NPT 1/2 in, carries the W 5 um filter element instead of the standard 40 um, drains by differential pressure, and is the low-pressure regulator type with no gauge fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C non-freezing, the bowl is polycarbonate, and a mounting bracket is supplied.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, a choice of 40 um or 5 um filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and gauge options on other configurations. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and any datasheet figure for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supplies filtered and pressure-regulated air to workholding clamps and fixtures on a CNC machining centre, with the 5 um element suiting lines that feed fine control valves downstream.
Feeds spray guns and coating applicators that run at reduced pressure, combining water and particle removal with low-pressure regulation in a single body at the point of use.
Conditions the air feeding sealing jaws and packaging cylinders on a packaging line, with the differential-pressure drain shedding collected water while the machine is running.
Within the GFR line you choose the size (200/300/400/600 - larger sizes carry larger ports and more flow), the port and thread (PT standard; G and NPT to order), the filter grade (40 um standard or 5 um with code W, as fitted here), the drain (differential-pressure as on this unit, automatic, or manual), whether a gauge is fitted and its scale, and whether a bracket is included. This unit is the low-pressure type, so if your line runs at reduced set pressures, confirm the exact adjustment range with us before ordering. Because flow is published as curves rather than one rated number, ask us to check the curve against your required flow and line pressure before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your required flow and line pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet before you order.
The N in the code means no gauge is fitted; gauge options exist on other GFR configurations. The low-pressure type is the regulator variant intended for reduced set pressures - contact us and we will confirm its exact adjustment range on request.
