The AirTAC GFR400C15MC1WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MC1WTK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure. This size 400 unit is threaded NPT1/2, carries a 5 um filter element (code W), and drains by hand through its manual drain. An external round pressure gauge scaled in MPa is fitted, a reverse/check valve (code K) is built in, and a mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulated outlet range with the manual drain is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). The bowl on this size is polycarbonate.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT threads, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filtration, and gauge or no-gauge variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feed and regulate the air line to a pneumatic press or clamping cylinder, with the 5 um element protecting the valve stack and the regulator holding a steady setting at the press.
Supply filtered, regulated air to the cylinders and actuators on a bottling or cartoning conveyor, where water carry-over and pressure drift both cause misfeeds.
Drop point for a paint booth or body-shop air drop: the 5 um grade trims particulate ahead of spray guns while the regulator sets gun supply pressure at the wall.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in port sits in the upper half of the GFR range; step down to 300 or 200, or up to 600, according to the air your line consumes - we confirm flow against the published curves on request. The 5 um element (W) suits points where finer particulate protection matters; the 40 um standard element is the usual general-line choice. A manual drain means an operator opens the bowl drain periodically; automatic (A) and differential-pressure (blank) drain codes are available if you want unattended draining, though note the manual-drain version offers the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range. The round MPa gauge is fitted here; psi and bar scales and an embedded square gauge are the alternatives. Thread on this unit is NPT; PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is also a catalogue option. A mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and full datasheet figures for you on request before you order.
Code M specifies a manual drain: an operator opens the bowl drain to remove collected water. Automatic (A) and differential-pressure (blank) drain versions exist in the same family. Note the manual-drain version also carries the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range, versus 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) with automatic or differential-pressure drains.
