The AirTAC GFR400C15MC2WGK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15MC2WGK is a size-400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady in one body. This configuration is built around a G1/2 (BSPP) port, a fine 5 um filter element, a manual drain on the bowl, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, and a reverse/check valve that holds downstream pressure when the supply is lost. A mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with the manual drain fitted, and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR400 series. The GFR line is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of 40 um standard or 5 um fine filtration, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air at each paint booth drop: the 5 um element keeps water and particulate out of the spray air, and the regulator holds a steady gun pressure without adding oil mist to the finish.
Supply point for the pneumatic valve manifold on a cartoning or wrapping line: clean, pressure-stable air to the directional valves and cylinders, with the check valve holding the circuit if the plant supply dips.
Regulated air for the pushers, diverters and stop gates along a bottling conveyor, where the 5 um grade protects the small control cylinders and the manual drain suits a supervised daily check routine.
Size 400 with a 1/2 inch port sits in the upper half of the GFR range - step up to size 600 if your line needs more flow, or down to 300/200 for compact circuits. The 5 um element (code W) suits air that feeds sensitive valves, actuators or processes; the 40 um standard element is the general-purpose choice. The manual drain means someone bleeds the bowl on a routine - choose automatic or differential-pressure drain codes if the unit will be hard to reach. The round psi gauge is the external option; an embedded square gauge with MPa, psi or bar scales is also available. G (BSPP) thread is ordered as an option, with PT as the standard and NPT also offered; a bracket is included here.
One honest note before you order: AirTAC publishes filter-regulator flow as curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the sizing and datasheet figures against your required flow before you commit.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes filter-regulator flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a flow number for this unit. Tell us your port size, working pressure and required flow, and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves for you before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: the bowl is emptied by hand as part of a routine check, which suits units mounted where an operator passes regularly. If the unit will be hard to reach, the same GFR400 body is available with an automatic drain (code A) or a differential-pressure drain (blank), and the manual-drain version carries the wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range.
