The AirTAC GFR400C15MC2WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15MC2WTK is a GFR-series filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure. This size 400 unit is threaded NPT1/2 (1/2 in), carries a 5 um filter element (code W), drains by hand via its manual drain, and is fitted with a round pressure gauge reading in psi, a reverse (check) valve and a mounting bracket. The standard-type regulator adjusts from 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C non-freezing, and the bowl is metal.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options including 40 um or 5 um filtration, manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, a reverse valve, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow for the series is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing or any datasheet figure for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditions and regulates the 1/2-in air drop feeding carton-sealing and case-packing cylinders on a packaging line; the 5 um element keeps grit out of the directional valves and the manual drain is opened at shift start to clear collected water.
Supplies regulated air to pneumatic clamping fixtures on a machining centre; operators set and verify clamp pressure on the round psi gauge, and the fitted reverse (check) valve is already in place for circuits that call for one.
Feeds spray guns and air tools on an automotive body shop prep bench; the regulator holds the gun supply pressure while the 5 um element and manual-drain bowl help keep water and dirt away from the paint work.
Your real choices on this family are the size and port step (200/300/400/600 against the flow your line needs), the drain type - manual as fitted here, or automatic or differential-pressure - the filter grade (40 um standard, or 5 um with code W as on this unit), the gauge (embedded square as standard, or the external round gauge fitted here, in MPa, psi or bar scales), the thread (PT is the series standard; G and NPT, as ordered here, are catalogue options), the bracket, and the reverse (check) valve with code K, which is fitted on this unit.
Flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so we will not quote one number. Tell us your application and we will confirm sizing and any datasheet figure on request before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR-series flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and any other datasheet figure on request before you order.
This unit carries code M, a manual drain you open by hand to expel collected water. The GFR family also offers automatic (code A) and differential-pressure drains (blank, the series default), so tell us which you prefer when ordering.
