The AirTAC GFR400C15MF2TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15MF2TK is a GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady, all in one body. This 400-size unit has a 1/2 in NPT port, a manual-drain polycarbonate (PC) bowl, the standard 40 um filter element, an embedded square gauge reading in psi, and a reverse/check valve fitted. The standard regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options that include manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a finer 5 um element (code W), embedded square or optional external round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, G or NPT threads, and bracket choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm figures from the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air for carton sealers and case wrap machines, where water and debris in the supply cause sticky valves and inconsistent jaw pressure on a running line.
Stable downstream pressure for a bench pneumatic press or clamping fixture, so repeat cycles hold the same force without the operator chasing a drifting regulator.
Point-of-use conditioning ahead of spray guns in a paint or finishing booth, removing water and particulate that would otherwise mar the coating and spoil the finish.
Size and port set the air capacity: this unit is size 400 with a 1/2 in NPT port, and you can step up or down through sizes 200 to 600 as your flow demand changes. Drain type is a real operating choice: manual drain (as on this unit) needs periodic hand draining, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate without attention. The 40 um element is standard; specify 5 um (code W) where finer filtration is needed. Gauges come as an embedded square gauge (psi on this unit) or an optional external round gauge with MPa, psi or bar scales. PT is the standard thread with G and NPT as order options, and a mounting bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can honestly quote. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet so you can size the unit correctly before ordering.
This unit has a manual drain, so condensate collected in the polycarbonate bowl must be drained by hand at intervals you set. If you want unattended condensate removal, the same family is available with automatic or differential-pressure drains. Note that with a manual drain the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), a wider low end than the 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) range of the auto and differential-pressure drain versions.
