The AirTAC GFR400C15MF2WK AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MF2WK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in a single body. This configuration is threaded PT1/2 (1/2 in, PT standard), has a manual-drain polycarbonate bowl, a 5 um filter element (the 40 um standard element is the alternative), an embedded square gauge scaled in psi, and a reverse/check valve fitted. A mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family comes in four sizes (200/300/400/600) with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, G, NPT or PT threads, a choice of drain type, filter grade and gauge, and an optional bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clean, regulated air to the pick-and-place and sealing cylinders on a packaging line, with the 5 um element protecting directional valves from particulate carryover.
Supplying a clamping cylinder on a small pneumatic press, where the regulator holds a set clamping pressure and the check valve holds the downstream circuit if upstream pressure dips.
Regulating air to diverter gates and stoppers along a sorting conveyor, with the manual drain letting maintenance staff clear accumulated condensate during scheduled stops.
The real choices in this family are the size and port (200/300/400/600, 1/8 to 1 in) matched to the air your line consumes; the drain type (manual, automatic or differential-pressure); the filter element (40 um standard, 5 um with code W); the gauge (embedded square as standard, external round optional, scaled in MPa, psi or bar); the thread (PT standard, G or NPT to order); and the bracket. This unit is the 1/2 in PT size 400 with manual drain, 5 um element, psi square gauge and check valve. With manual drain, its regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi); note that automatic and differential-drain versions regulate 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
Flow for this family is published as curves, not a single rating - ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this family as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow and datasheet figures for the GFR400 at 1/2 in on request before you order.
Manual drain means condensate collected in the bowl is released by hand during maintenance. The family also offers automatic and differential-pressure drains that remove condensate without attention. Note the regulation range differs: manual-drain units regulate 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), while automatic and differential-drain units regulate 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi).
