The AirTAC GFR400C15MF2WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MF2WT is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is sized for a 1/2 in NPT port, fitted with a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two catalogue grades), a manual drain on the bowl, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi. The standard regulator covers an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The polycarbonate bowl lets you see accumulated condensate, and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard; G and NPT as order options), and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding a pneumatic press cylinder that clamps and forms sheet-metal parts, where the 5 um element protects the valve and cylinder seals from particulate and the regulator holds a steady working pressure stroke after stroke.
Supplying the air cylinders that push, divert and stop cartons on a packaging conveyor, with the square psi gauge letting line staff check set pressure at a glance and the manual drain bled during changeover.
Conditioning the air supply to quarter-turn pneumatic actuators on a process skid, where clean, regulated air keeps positioner and solenoid valves working reliably and the 1/2 in port matches the skid piping.
Step up or down through the GFR sizes (200/300/400/600) and their port sizes (1/8 to 1 in) according to the air demand of the circuit - the flow curves, not a single rating, drive that choice, so send us your demand figure and we will confirm the right size. On this unit the drain is manual, which suits installations where an operator can bleed the bowl on a routine basis; automatic and differential-pressure drains are available on other codes if nobody will be nearby to drain it. The 5 um element (code W) is the finer option versus the 40 um standard - choose it when downstream valves and cylinders need cleaner air. The square gauge here reads psi; MPa and bar scales are available, and an external round gauge is an option. Thread is NPT on this code; PT is the catalogue standard and G (BSPP) is also orderable. A mounting bracket is included. Before ordering, ask us to confirm sizing against the flow curves for your application.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves, not as a single rated figure, so there is no one number we can honestly quote. Tell us your air demand and operating pressure and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The M in the code means the bowl is drained by hand: an operator opens the drain to release accumulated condensate. It suits stations that are visited regularly. If the unit will be mounted where nobody drains it routinely, choose an automatic or differential-pressure drain code instead - both are available in the GFR range.
