The AirTAC GFR400C15MJC3TK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15MJC3TK is a GFR-series filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds the downstream pressure at your setpoint. This size 400 configuration has 1/2 in NPT ports, a manual-drain polycarbonate bowl, a 40 um standard filter element, a round pressure gauge reading in bar, and a reverse (check) valve fitted to block backflow through the unit; no mounting bracket is included.
It is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, PT, G or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge and scale choices, and an optional low-pressure regulator type. Flow is published only as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air for the directional valves and cylinders on a carton-sealing or wrapping line, keeping water and debris out of the valves while holding a steady setpoint.
Feeding a workholding clamp circuit on a machining cell, where the regulator sets consistent clamping force and the filter protects the clamp cylinder and check valve.
Supplying air to diverter and stopper actuators on a sortation conveyor, with filtered, regulated pressure so stroke behaviour stays repeatable shift after shift.
The real, decodable choices in this family are the size and port step against the flow your line needs (200/300/400/600, 1/8 to 1 in), the drain type - differential-pressure as standard, automatic, or manual as on this unit - the filter element at 40 um standard or 5 um (W), the gauge type and scale (MPa, psi or bar), the thread (PT standard; G and NPT to order), whether a reverse/check valve is fitted, and whether a bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application conditions and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, setpoint and expected air consumption and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
M in the code means a manual drain: condensate collects in the bowl until an operator opens the drain. It suits attended installations with a regular drain routine; choose automatic drain (code A) where the unit is hard to reach. On this manual-drain unit the regulation range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
