The AirTAC GFR400C15MJF2T AirTAC Filter Regulator, NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MJF2T is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This size 400 unit is fitted with 1/2 in NPT ports, a 40 um filter element, a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi. The standard regulator covers 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the unit operates from -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). No mounting bracket and no reverse/check valve are included in this configuration.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port sizes, thread types (PT standard; G and NPT to order), drain types, 40 um or 5 um filtration, and gauge options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air feeding tool-clamp and chip-clearing cylinders on a machining centre, with the square psi gauge giving operators a local setpoint readout at the machine.
Conditioning the air that drives carton-forming and sealing cylinders on a packaging conveyor, where the 40 um element protects valves from water and debris carryover.
A filtered, pressure-adjusted drop at an assembly bench or work cell, with manual drain suited to a station that is shut down and bled at the end of each shift.
Size 400 with 1/2 in ports suits lines that move more air than the 200/300 step; step up to 600 or down to 300 based on the flow curve for your consumption, which we can confirm on request. Drain choice matters: this unit has a manual drain, so someone must bleed the bowl; choose automatic or differential-pressure drain codes if the installation is unattended. Filtration is 40 um as standard - order the W code if you need 5 um. The square gauge here reads psi; MPa and bar scales are available, and an external round gauge is an option. Thread is NPT on this unit; PT is the standard catalogue thread and G (BSPP) is also orderable. A bracket (J code omits it) and a reverse/check valve (K code) can be specified on other configurations. Because flow is published as curves, not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request.
This configuration carries the M code, meaning the bowl is drained by hand - a good fit for attended cells that are bled each shift. The GFR family is also orderable with automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain for unattended installations; the regulation range differs by drain type, so tell us which you need when ordering.
