The AirTAC GFR400C15MLC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MLC1WT is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is size 400 with a 1/2 in NPT port (PT is the standard thread; G and NPT are order options), a 5 um filter element (the W grade, finer than the 40 um standard), a manual drain, and the low-pressure regulator type with a round MPa gauge fitted. The bowl is metal, a mounting bracket is included, and no reverse/check valve is fitted. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and with choices of drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale, thread and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating air to pneumatic clamps and fixtures on a machining cell that must run at reduced setting pressures below what a standard regulator covers, with the round MPa gauge giving a clear local readout.
Point-of-use treatment on a packaging machine's 1/2 in air main, where the 5 um element protects directional valves and actuators from water and fine particulate before it reaches the machine.
Supplying larger bore stopper and gate cylinders on a conveyor line, where the 1/2 in port suits the demand and the manual drain fits a centrally scheduled maintenance round.
Size and port step up together: 200, 300, 400 and 600 cover ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and this size 400 unit carries a 1/2 in NPT port. Choose the drain to match your maintenance routine: manual (as here) drains on demand, automatic drains continuously, and the differential-pressure default drains as the element loads up. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um with the W code; this unit carries the 5 um element. The L code marks the low-pressure regulator type, intended where settings sit below the standard range; its exact range is not published, so confirm it with us. Gauges are embedded square as standard with an optional external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales; this configuration has the round MPa gauge. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as order options, and a bracket is included. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
Flow for the GFR400 series is published as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm the datasheet curve for this exact configuration before you order.
This unit has a manual drain: open it to expel the water and particulate collected in the metal bowl, and it stays closed until the next check. If you cannot rely on scheduled checks, the automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure default drains the bowl without operator action; ask us to quote that variant.
