The AirTAC GFR400C15MLC1WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MLC1WTK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and reduces pressure downstream, in a size 400 unit with a 1/2 in NPT port. This configuration carries the W grade 5 um element for finer filtration, a metal bowl with manual drain, the low-pressure regulator type, a round pressure gauge with MPa scale, a built-in reverse/check valve, and a mounting bracket. Maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), with an operating temperature of -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
It is a genuine AirTAC part from the G-series range, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT, G and NPT threads, and a choice of drain types, filter grades, gauges and check valves. AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm flow and other datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds pneumatic clamps and hold-downs on a machining cell that run below standard line pressure, with the 5 um element keeping fine debris out of the clamp valves.
Sits at the drop feeding carton-forming and case-sealing cylinders on a packaging line, filtering condensed water from the main and letting operators set a reduced working pressure at the machine.
Conditions the air drop at a spray booth, using the 5 um grade to catch fine particulate before it reaches guns and the manual drain for end-of-shift condensate bleeding.
Choose size 400 with its 1/2 in port when your line is plumbed in half-inch and your flow demand sits in the upper mid-range of the G-series; step up to 600 or down to 300 if your piping differs. This unit has a manual drain, so condensate must be bled periodically - specify automatic or differential-pressure drain instead if the installation is unattended. The W code gives the 5 um element rather than the standard 40 um; pick it where downstream equipment needs finer air. The gauge here is the external round type on the MPa scale (psi and bar scales are also available). Thread is NPT on this code; PT is the standard thread and G is the other order option. Regulation range for the low-pressure type is not published, so confirm it with us before ordering.
Because AirTAC publishes flow only as curves and not as a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing of this unit against your application before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one number we can quote. Send us your line pressure, downstream demand and duty, and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet for your application before you order.
The M in the code specifies a manual drain: condensate collected in the metal bowl must be bled off by hand at intervals. If the unit will be installed where nobody drains it regularly, the same GFR400 size is available with automatic or differential-pressure drain - tell us the installation and we will quote the right code.
