The AirTAC GFR400C15MLC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MLC2G is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built on the size 400 frame with a G1/2 (BSPP) port, the low-pressure (L) regulator type, a manual drain, the standard 40 um filter element, a round pressure gauge reading in psi, and the mounting bracket included. The bowl on this unit is metal, and the manual drain means an operator opens the drain valve to expel collected water rather than relying on an automatic or differential-pressure drain. Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and can be ordered with automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um (W) element instead of the 40 um standard, embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, PT, G or NPT threads, and with or without a bracket. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so send us your application conditions and we will confirm the datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating shop air down to the gentle pressure a low-pressure clamp fixture needs, with the manual drain used at shift start to clear accumulated water before the first cycle.
Conditioning air for carton-sealer and case-erector cylinders on a packaging line: the 40 um element catches pipe scale and corrosion while the regulator holds a steady low setting so folds and seals stay consistent.
Supplying filtered, regulated low-pressure air to air knives that strip rinse water from parts on a wash line, with the manual drain letting an operator bleed the bowl during end-of-day cleanup.
Everything that differentiates units in this family is decodable from the code. Step through sizes 200/300/400/600 to match the port and flow duty - this unit sits at size 400 with a G1/2 port. Choose the drain: manual (as here) for supervised draining, automatic for hands-off operation, or the differential-pressure default. Choose the filter grade: 40 um standard, or 5 um with the W code where finer protection is needed. Gauges are embedded square as standard with an external round option, in MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit carries a round psi gauge. Threads come as PT (the standard), with G or NPT as order options, and the bracket can be included or omitted. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one l/min or SCFM number we can honestly quote. Send us your inlet pressure, set pressure and expected demand, and we will confirm the relevant datasheet curve figures on request before you order.
The L code means the regulator in this GFR400 unit is set up for low-pressure duty rather than the standard range. The exact adjustment range for the low-pressure type is not published in the material we hold, so we will confirm it on request. Everything else about the decode is standard: G1/2 port, manual drain, 40 um element, round psi gauge, metal bowl and included bracket.
