The AirTAC GFR400C15MLC2WK AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is built around a 1/2 in PT port and a 5 um filter element (one step finer than the 40 um standard), with a manual drain for controlled bowl purging. The regulator is the low-pressure type for circuits that hold lower set pressures; its exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm it with us before ordering. A round psi gauge is fitted, a reverse/check valve is installed, the mounting bracket is included, and the unit is rated to 1.0 MPa (145 psi) inlet over -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR range spans sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um filtration, and gauge or no-gauge builds. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and any datasheet figure against your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supplying a fixture-clamping circuit on a CNC machining cell that holds a low regulated pressure, with the 5 um element protecting the clamp cylinders' seals from finer contamination.
Feeding pick-and-place and sealing actuators on a packaging line, where the manual drain lets operators purge collected condensate as part of the shift-start routine.
Regulating clean, low-pressure air on a bench test rig, with the fitted round psi gauge giving a direct reading in the unit used on US test paperwork.
Choose the size and port by the flow your line needs: this unit steps up to 1/2 in PT on the size-400 body, the right neighbourhood for higher-consumption circuits - match the curve, not a single number. Drain type is a real decision: manual drain (as here) means an operator opens the bowl valve, while automatic and differential-pressure drains discharge condensate on their own. Filter grade is 5 um on this build versus the 40 um standard - pick 5 um where downstream valves and cylinders need finer protection. The round psi gauge, low-pressure regulator type, reverse/check valve and included bracket are all locked in by the code; PT is the standard thread and G or NPT are order options. Flow is published as curves, not a rated figure, so send us your demand and we will confirm this unit is sized correctly before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR400 flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Send us your working pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request.
Manual drain means an operator opens the bowl valve to purge collected condensate - simple and reliable where checks are part of the routine. Automatic and differential-pressure drain versions of the same GFR400 build are available if you prefer unattended draining; ask us to quote the variant.
