The AirTAC GFR400C15MLC2WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MLC2WTK is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is built on the size 400 frame with a 1/2 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (code W), a manual drain bowl, and the low-pressure regulator type (code L). It includes a round external gauge with a psi scale, a reverse/check valve (code K), and a mounting bracket. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family covers sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and catalogue options for drain type (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um optional), gauge style and scale, thread (PT standard, with G and NPT as order options), and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the figures against your application; the datasheet is available on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Clean, regulated air feeding the directional valve that clamps and releases weld fixtures; the 5 um element helps keep the spool valve free of particulate, and the manual drain is emptied during scheduled changeover.
A regulated supply point for the tool-changer and chip-blow circuits on a machining centre, where clean air and a stable low-pressure setting protect actuator seals and keep the change sequence repeatable.
Filter-regulated air for the divert and stopper cylinders on a carton conveyor line; the fitted reverse/check valve holds the downstream circuit when upstream pressure is lost.
Size and port: the 400 frame with a 1/2 in NPT port sits in the upper half of the GFR range (200/300/400/600); step up or down according to the air your line consumes. This unit carries the W-grade 5 um element - choose it when downstream valves, cylinders or instruments need finer filtration than the 40 um standard. The M code means a manual drain: an operator drains the bowl on a schedule, while differential-pressure and automatic drains are catalogue alternatives. The L code selects the low-pressure regulator type; the exact adjustment range for the low-pressure type is not published in our sheet, so confirm it with us before ordering. The gauge here is the round external type with a psi scale (C2); the embedded square gauge and MPa or bar scales are the other options. The K code adds a reverse/check valve, and the bracket is included. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR400 flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your flow and pressure requirements and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M code means the bowl is drained by hand on a schedule; differential-pressure and automatic drains are catalogue alternatives if the unit cannot be accessed regularly. This unit also carries the 5 um W-grade element - the 40 um grade is the standard choice where finer filtration is not required.
