The AirTAC GFR400C15MLF2 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MLF2 is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: a single body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and then regulates downstream pressure. This configuration is the size 400 unit with a 1/2 in PT port, the standard 40 um filter element, and a manual drain you operate by opening the bowl drain by hand. It is the low-pressure type, so it is intended for circuits that work below the standard regulator range, and it carries an embedded square gauge reading in psi. A mounting bracket is included for panel or wall fixing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, drain choices (manual, automatic or differential-pressure), an optional 5 um element, gauge scale choices, and G or NPT thread options to order. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C1 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed on the air feed to a low-pressure pneumatic press or clamping station, it cleans the supply of water and swarf and lets the operator set a stable reduced pressure for the forming or holding cycle.
Fitted at the drop point feeding a loom or spinning frame air circuit, it strips condensate and lint-laden particulate from the line and holds the gentle regulated pressure that low-pressure textile jets and guides need.
Mounted on the branch feeding a laboratory or test-bench air manifold, it removes moisture from the building supply and provides a manually set, gauge-monitored pressure for instruments and small pneumatic fixtures.
Start with size and port: the 400 series steps up in flow capacity and port from the 300, so match the 1/2 in PT connection and the air demand of the circuit - we can check the published flow curves against your requirement before you order. This unit is the low-pressure type, chosen when the working pressure sits below the standard regulator range; the exact adjustment window for this type is not published, so confirm it with us. Drain is manual, which suits installations where an operator is on site regularly; automatic or differential-pressure drains are available if you prefer hands-off condensate removal. The 40 um element is the standard grade, with a 5 um option where finer filtration is needed. The square gauge reads psi; MPa and bar scales and an external round gauge are alternatives. PT is the standard thread, with G and NPT available as order options, and a mounting bracket is included.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for this 1/2 in low-pressure unit before you order.
The L in the code marks the low-pressure regulator type, intended for circuits working below the standard adjustment range; the exact range for this type is not published, so confirm it with us. The M marks a manual drain, meaning you open the bowl drain by hand to remove accumulated condensate - a good fit where the machine is attended regularly.
