The AirTAC GFR400C15MLF2GK AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2, Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15MLF2GK is a GFR400-series filter regulator: water and particulate filtration plus pressure regulation combined in one body. This configuration is the size 400 unit with a G1/2 (BSPP) port, manual drain, 40 um filter grade, an embedded square gauge reading in psi, a fitted reverse (check) valve, low-pressure regulation, and the mounting bracket included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the bowl on size 400 is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and options across drain type (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grade (40 um standard, 5 um with code W), gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar), thread (PT is the family standard; G and NPT are order options) and bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm flow and other datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Supplying cleaned, regulated air to clamp and swing-cylinder fixtures on a CNC machining cell, where the low-pressure regulator lets the setter hold workpieces at a reduced, repeatable setpoint instead of full line pressure.
Filtering and regulating the air feeding stopper, pusher and diverter cylinders on a bottling or carton-packing conveyor, with the manual drain emptied by hand as part of the line's scheduled maintenance round.
Powering small air-actuated process valves on a water-treatment or dosing skid, where particulate and water are stripped out upstream and the fitted check valve blocks reverse flow back through the unit.
Step up through sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with ports from 1/8 to 1 in; pick the size whose flow curve covers your demand rather than port size alone - ask us to check the curve with you. On this unit the choices are already set: size 400 with G1/2 thread (PT is the family standard; G and NPT are order options), manual drain, 40 um grade (5 um is available as code W), square psi gauge (external round gauge and MPa or bar scales are optional), low-pressure regulation, check valve and included bracket. The exact adjustment range of the low-pressure type is not published in the catalogue, so we confirm it from the datasheet on request.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so there is no honest one-number answer to quote. Send us your application details and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet, and check the curve against your demand, before you order.
The M in the code means the bowl is drained by hand as part of routine maintenance, which suits lines that are attended regularly. The same GFR family is also available with an automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure drain that is the default, so you can move to hands-off draining within the same series.
