The AirTAC GFR400C15MLF2WTK AirTAC Filter Regulator 1/2 NPT 5um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15MLF2WTK is a size 400 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration is built with a 1/2 in NPT port, a fine 5 um filter element, a manual drain on the bowl, and the low-pressure regulator type. A square pressure gauge with a psi scale is fitted so the set pressure is visible at the unit, a reverse (check) valve is included, and a mounting bracket comes with the unit for panel or frame fixing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFR series, which spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in up to 1 in, a choice of drain types, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge scale options and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

A filter regulator placed ahead of clamping cylinders on a CNC fixture keeps chips and condensed water out of the clamp circuit while holding the clamp pressure the operator sets on the psi gauge.
Feeding air-operated control valves through this unit filters the plant air to 5 um and lets the technician regulate the supply to the actuator range, with the check valve holding the line against reverse flow.
Mounted on its bracket beside the conveyor, the unit conditions the air feeding the flap-fold and tuck cylinders, with the manual drain emptied as part of the shift checklist.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in NPT port sits in the upper half of the GFR range, so step up or down between 200, 300, 400 and 600 according to the air demand of the circuit - the larger the size, the larger the port and the greater the flow capacity. This unit is already specified with the fine 5 um element (the standard element is 40 um), a manual drain you operate by hand rather than an automatic or differential-pressure drain, and a square gauge reading in psi (MPa and bar scales are also available). The low-pressure regulator type is chosen where the circuit works below standard regulator settings; the exact adjustment range for this type is not published in our sheet, so confirm it with us. Thread is NPT here, with PT (standard) and G also orderable.
Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rated figure, send us your application details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number. Tell us your line pressure and the air demand of your equipment and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The M in the code means the bowl drain is operated by hand: an operator opens it periodically to release collected condensate. The GFR series is also orderable with an automatic drain or the differential-pressure drain, which suit installations that are not checked daily. This particular model is built with the manual drain.
