The AirTAC GFR400C15MLJC1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15MLJC1WT is a GFR-series filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds the downstream pressure at a set point. This 400-size unit is built with 1/2 in NPT ports, a 5 um filter element (code W), a manual drain on the metal bowl, and a round pressure gauge with an MPa scale. It is the low-pressure regulator type, and no mounting bracket is included with this code. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
It is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 in, and can be ordered with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, PT, G or NPT threads, with or without a bracket, and in standard or low-pressure regulator types. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm figures against your application; the datasheet is available on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating the air feed to spray guns and atomising valves on a paint finishing line, with the 5 um element helping keep the gun's air passages clean and the round gauge giving the operator a local set-point reading.
Supplying filtered, regulated air to the cylinder-driven jaws and sealers on a carton packaging line, with the manual drain emptied as part of the shift maintenance routine.
Feeding the gate and diverter cylinders along a conveyor system with filtered air held at a steady low set point, so divert actions stay consistent through the shift.
Size drives the port and the flow band: this is size 400 with a 1/2 in NPT port, so step to 600 or down to 300/200 if your line needs a different port. Drain choice matters in practice - a manual drain needs someone to open it, an automatic drain empties on its own, and the differential-pressure drain (the default) bleeds as the pressure drop builds; this code is manual. The 5 um element (W) gives finer protection than the standard 40 um. The round MPa gauge is fitted here; psi or bar scales and the embedded square gauge can be ordered instead. Thread is NPT on this code, PT is the standard and G (BSPP) is an option. Brackets are optional and not included here.
The regulator on this unit is the low-pressure type; its exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm it with us before ordering. Flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so send us your application and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet for this GFR400 size with its 1/2 in NPT port before you order.
The M in GFR400C15MLJC1WT selects a manual drain on the metal bowl: collected water is released by opening the drain by hand as part of routine checks. If you prefer hands-off draining, the same GFR400 size can be ordered with an automatic drain (code A) or the differential-pressure drain, which is the default.
