The AirTAC GFR400C15MLJC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15MLJC2T is a GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 400 unit is threaded NPT1/2, carries the standard 40 um filter element, and drains condensate manually. It is the low-pressure type and comes with the external round gauge fitted on a psi scale. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The polycarbonate bowl lets you see the condensate level at a glance.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, plus options for automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and G or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| C1 | Port size See datasheet. This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filter and step the supply pressure down before a pneumatic press or clamp cylinder, with the psi round gauge giving the operator a direct reading at the setpoint.
Condition the air feeding a packaging line's valves and actuators: the 40 um element catches pipe scale and rust while the manual drain clears accumulated water during changeovers.
On a laboratory or test-bench air loop, the low-pressure regulator holds a gentle supply for sensitive instruments while the bowl strips water before it reaches them.
Size 400 with a 1/2 inch port sits in the upper-middle of the GFR range; step down to 300 or 200, or up to 600, as your air demand requires - flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. This code is the low-pressure type (L); its exact adjustment range is not published, so confirm it with us if your setpoint is critical. The 40 um element is the standard grade; code W gives a 5 um element where finer filtration is needed.
Code M sets a manual drain, so plan to bleed the bowl by hand; the automatic (A) and differential-pressure (blank) drain codes remove that task. The C2 gauge option fits the external round gauge reading in psi; the embedded square gauge in MPa, psi or bar scales comes on other codes. This unit is threaded NPT (T); PT is the AirTAC standard and G (BSPP) is also an order option. Code J means no mounting bracket is included - bracketed versions are available.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet for this exact NPT1/2 unit before you order.
Code M sets a manual drain: you open the drain valve by hand to bleed collected water from the polycarbonate bowl. If you cannot schedule that, the automatic (A) and differential-pressure (blank) drain codes are available on other GFR400 variants.
