The AirTAC GFR400C15MLJF2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G1/2 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR400C15MLJF2G is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This unit is built on the size 400 series with a G1/2 (1/2 inch) G-thread port, the low-pressure regulator type, a manual drain on the polycarbonate bowl, the standard 40 um filter element, and the embedded square gauge scaled in psi. No reverse (check) valve is fitted and no mounting bracket is included. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and options that include differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, a 5 um element (code W), gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and G or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, low-pressure regulated air for the clamp and flap cylinders on a carton-sealing machine; the manual drain lets an operator clear collected water at the start of each shift.
Steady low-pressure air to the pneumatic clamps on a CNC fixture, with 40 um filtration protecting the directional valve and cylinder seals from particles and water carryover.
Regulated low-pressure supply to a leak-test station where the test pressure must sit well below standard line pressure; the psi-scaled square gauge makes setpoints easy to read and verify.
Size and port step up from 200 to 600 (1/8 to 1 inch), so choose the size whose flow curve covers your demand; this unit is already the size 400, G1/2 configuration. The choices behind the code: drain type (differential-pressure standard, automatic, or manual - this unit is manual, suited to a maintained installation where an operator drains at intervals); filter element 40 um standard or 5 um with code W; gauge scale MPa, psi or bar (this unit: square gauge, psi); thread PT as standard with G or NPT to order (this unit: G); and bracket (this unit: none, code J). As a low-pressure type regulator, its adjustment range is not published on our sheet - confirm it with us. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet on request before you order.
The L in the code marks the low-pressure regulator variant, intended for set pressures below the standard type. The exact adjustment range for this low-pressure version is not published on our sheet, so we confirm it on request. Everything else decodes normally: manual drain, 40 um element, square psi gauge, G1/2 G-thread, no reverse valve and no bracket.
