The AirTAC GFR400C15MLJF3WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MLJF3WT is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single compact body. This size 400 unit is built with a 1/2 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (the finer of the two catalogue grades), a manual drain for controlled bowl emptying, and a low-pressure regulator type for circuits that run below standard setting ranges. The embedded square pressure gauge is fitted and reads in bar, the bowl is polycarbonate, and no mounting bracket or reverse/check valve is included in this configuration.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is published in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G (BSPP) or NPT as order options, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain, 40 um standard or 5 um filtration, and gauge scale choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm flow and datasheet figures on request before you order.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use conditioning for solenoid valve and actuator banks on automated machinery: the 5 um element helps keep contaminants out of valve spools while the low-pressure regulator type sets supply pressure for circuits that operate below standard ranges.
Filtered, regulated air for cylinder-driven diverters, clamp stations and case-packing heads on conveyor lines, with the manual drain emptied during scheduled shift checks and the bar-scale square gauge giving operators a local pressure readout.
Conditioning the air feeding pneumatic workholding clamps, tool-change cylinders and chip-blow-off circuits on machining centres, where clean, regulated supply at a controlled low setting keeps the machine's air functions consistent.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in port sits in the upper-middle of the GFR range; step up to size 600 or down to 300 depending on the flow your line needs - ask us to check the published flow curves against your demand before ordering. This unit carries the 5 um (W) element; the standard grade is 40 um if your application does not need finer filtration. The manual drain (M) means an operator opens the drain as part of routine checks; automatic or differential-pressure drain versions are available if you prefer unattended condensate removal. The gauge is the embedded square type reading in bar; an external round gauge with MPa, psi or bar scale can be ordered instead. Thread here is NPT; PT is the catalogue standard and G (BSPP) is also available. This configuration has no mounting bracket (J) and no reverse/check valve.
Because rated flow is published only as curves and not as a single figure, please send us your application details so we can confirm sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Send us your line pressure, downstream demand and port requirements and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The L position marks this unit as the low-pressure regulator type, intended for circuits whose set pressure sits below what the standard regulator type is built around. The exact adjustment range for the low-pressure type is not published in the material we hold, so please ask us to confirm the range for your setpoint. This configuration also carries a manual drain: condensate is emptied by opening the drain rather than automatically.
