The AirTAC GFR400C15MLJNT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has See datasheet ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR400C15MLJNT is an AirTAC GFR400 filter regulator: one body that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure. This configuration is the size 400 unit with a 1/2 in NPT port, the standard 40 um filter element, a manual drain for emptying collected condensate, and the low-pressure regulator type for circuits that run below standard line pressure. No gauge is fitted (code N), no reverse/check valve is included, and the unit ships without a mounting bracket (code J).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT as the standard thread and G or NPT as order options, with manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains and a 5 um element (code W) where finer filtration is needed. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm flow and datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding clamp and hold-down actuators on a production machine that runs below standard line pressure, with water and pipe scale removed before the air reaches the cylinders.
Installed as the conditioning stage on a machine's air manifold, filtering the shop supply and holding a reduced, stable pressure for the machine's valve and actuator circuits.
Conditioning air for diverters, pushers and gripper cylinders on a packaging or conveyor line, protecting downstream components from condensate and particulate carryover.
Size 400 with a 1/2 in port sits in the upper half of the GFR range; step up or down (200/300/400/600) according to the air demand of the circuit, since port size and body size scale together. This unit has the manual drain (code M), which an operator empties by hand - choose automatic or differential-pressure drain codes if the installation cannot be serviced regularly. The 40 um element is the standard grade; specify the W code for 5 um where finer filtration is required. As a low-pressure type (code L) it is intended for circuits running below standard line pressure; its setpoint range is confirmed on request. The N code means no gauge is fitted, so add a gauge separately if a visual setpoint is needed, and the J code means no bracket is supplied. The T code gives an NPT thread; PT is the catalogue standard and G is also available to order. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR400 series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your application and required flow and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The N in the code means no pressure gauge is fitted; a gauge can be added separately if a visual setpoint is needed. The L code marks the low-pressure regulator type, intended for circuits running below standard line pressure - its setpoint range is confirmed on request.
